- Jan 12 - The association of South Korean flour mills (KOFMIA) purchased about 50,000 MT of US milling wheat from Marubeni for April shipment (22,710 MT of soft white wheat (10.5% protein) at 263.87 $/mt fob; 2,320 MT of soft white wheat (8.5% protein) at 269.76 $/mt fob; 17,220 MT of hard red winter wheat (11.5% protein) at 273.80 $/mt fob; 10,750 MT of northern spring wheat (14% protein) at 272.33 $/mt fob) and about 50,000 MT of Australian milling wheat (279.95 $/mt fob for white wheat, and 287.00 $/mt fob for hard wheat) for April-May shipment

- Private buyers in Pakistan in the first decade of January have purchased around 100,000 MT of wheat, expected from the Black Sea region, possibly Ukraine. Two consignments of about 50,000 to 55,000 MT each were purchased at about 305-306 $/mt c&f free out
